WORKOUT ANYTIME’s Proven Model Inspires Fitness Enthusiast to Open Her Own Gym
Certified personal trainer and competitive body builder Claire Bass is opening her first location in Cleveland, Ohio.

Fitness has always been one of Claire Bass’ passions. All her life, she’s made it a priority to stay active and get in a workout at the gym whenever possible. But for a few years, she neglected her normal exercise routine. In order to get back on track, she enlisted the help of a personal trainer.

That trainer opened Bass’ eyes to the possibility of entering the fitness industry herself. It seemed like the perfect time to break into the business—the obesity rate was climbing, especially among women and children. So she started talking to different people in the industry to see which concept might be the right fit for her. WORKOUT ANYTIME stood out as the obvious choice.

“The concept is ultimately what made me want to open my own WORKOUT ANYTIME gym. Not everyone wants a big box gym—they’re looking for a convenient location, affordable membership and high quality equipment. That’s what WORKOUT ANYTIME is all about,” said Bass. “This also gives me the opportunity to turn my passion into a career. Not only will I be running a successful business, I’ll be helping members of my community reach their health and fitness goals.”

Bass—who is also a certified trainer and competitive body builder—is gearing up for the opening of her first WORKOUT ANYTIME gym in Cleveland, Ohio. But she already has plans to grow with the brand—ultimately, Bass’ goal is to open two gyms a year for the next five years. Her oldest son, Alex, is also a partner in the business. So once she successfully opens her 10 planned locations, her plan is to retire and pass the reigns over to him.

I’m excited to continue working with them as I open up more locations.”

Bass is one of many franchisees currently expanding with WORKOUT ANYTIME across the country. Earlier this year, the brand crossed the 100-unit mark, which is something very few franchisors can boast. And it’s already well on its way to opening the next 100 gyms—the brand is continuing to build on strong business momentum.
